Tawang is a town situated in the northwestern part of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Tawang is located at an elevation of around 3,048 meters (10,000 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest towns in India. The town is surrounded by lofty mountains, including the Himalayas, and offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. Tawang is renowned for the Tawang Monastery, one of the largest and oldest monasteries in India and the second-largest in the world. It was founded in the 17th century by the Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso. The monastery is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists and a major tourist attraction, housing valuable scriptures, manuscripts, and artifacts. Tawang offers mesmerizing landscapes with pristine lakes, dense forests, and snow-covered mountains. Sela Pass, at an altitude of 4,170 meters, is a high-altitude mountain pass that provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is often covered in snow. Visit old Dirang Village and Dirang Dzong (17th-century fort). Eastern Himalaya.
Check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast Drive to Tawang (145 km / 7 hrs approx.)
En route, visit Sela Pass, Paradise Lake, and Jashwant Gar, Nuranang waterfall ( Based on time )

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation between 45 days and 30 days to the start of the trek Rs 10,800
Cancellation between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the trek Rs 14,400
Cancellation less than 15 days to the start of the trek Rs 18,000
  • Alternatively, a registered participant may transfer his/her registration to a friend without any cancellation fee.
  • In case of cancellation of the program due to any gov restrictions due to COVID/ Weather, an alternate date will be provided for the same trip and no refund for that.
  • In case you are not able to join the trip on the new dates, either you can send a replacement ( Without any additional cost) / You can opt for Wallet transfer,
    • What is Wallet Transfer?:  The amount will move to LGFC Wallet and you can use that for any other trip.  ( 2% fee will be deducted as movement charges) . Strictly there won’t be any refund to a bank account.
    • Wallet transfer is applicable only for the case when a participant wont be able to join the new date on a postponed trip due to Pandemic / Weather situations
    • The wallet transfer offer will only be one time , when the new date is announced. Further changes will be counted as normal cancellations and will be as per cancellation policy.
  • Installments are to be paid before the due dates.
  • In case when installments are pending after the due date, the order will be auto-canceled.
  • There will be no refund in case of auto cancellation due to nonpayment of installments.

We take care of arranging the necessary permits for your Tawang trip. To expedite the process, we kindly request the following documents from our guests:  A scanned copy of your E Aadhar card.
Two passport-size photos.
