VISA On Arrival
Do Indian citizens need a visa for Thailand?
Yes. Indian citizens visiting Thailand will need a visa for entry. Although there are various types of visas, depending on the purpose of the visit, if an Indian citizen is visiting solely for tourism purposes, they can get a Thailand Visa on Arrival or a Tourist Visa. However, if they are visiting for more than two weeks, citizens will be required to apply for a Thailand visa prior to their departure to Thailand.Thailand visa on arrival requirements
- Indian citizens visiting Thailand will only be applicable for the Thailand Visa on Arrival if they meet the following requirements:
- The visit is strictly for tourism purposes.
- The passport must be genuine and should be valid for at least 30 days.
- The applicant must have a valid address in Thailand (a hotel or apartment) that can be verified.
- The applicant must have a confirmed return ticket to show that they are flying out of Thailand within 15 days of entry, as appropriate. Open tickets do not qualify. Applicants might be asked to show their flight tickets when they enter Thailand. In case, they do not have a return flight ticket to show that will prove that they will be exiting Thailand within 15 days, the applicant will most likely be refused entry.
- It is also necessary to prove that they have funds of at least 20000 THB (INR 48500) per person during their stay in Thailand or equivalent dollars. This is just a show of money.
- A fee of 2,000 THB (INR 4,460) is payable upon entry and is subject to change without notice. It must be paid in cash and in Thai currency only.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation fees will be applied as mentioned below.

- Alternatively, a registered participant may transfer his/her registration to a friend without any cancellation fee 10 days before the trip, after that normal cancelation fee will be applied .
- In case of cancellation of the program due to any gov restrictions due to COVID/ Weather, an alternate date will be provided for the same trip, and strictly no refund for that.
- In case you are not able to join the trek on the new dates, either you can send a replacement ( Without any additional cost) / You can opt for Wallet transfer,
- What is Wallet Transfer?: The amount will move to LGFC Wallet and you can use that for any other trip. ( 2% fee will be deducted as movement charges) . Strictly there won’t be any refund to a bank account.
- Wallet transfer is applicable only for the case when a participant won’t be able to join the new date on a postponed trip due to Pandemic / Weather situations
- The wallet transfer offer will only be one time when the new date is announced. Further changes will be counted as normal cancellations and will be as per the cancellation policy
- Trip-to-trip movement is strictly not allowed.
- Installments are to be paid before the due dates.
- In case when installments are pending after the due date, the order will be auto-canceled.
- There will be no refund in case of auto cancellation due to nonpayment of installment.
Flight suggestions Batch 1 Thailand – Bangkok and Pattaya :
- Our group pick-up time will be at 5:00 AM from DMK airport on 21th October 2023
- We have given the suggested flight ( Air Asia, on 20th October, 23:00, Arrival DMK on 21st October at 4:30 AM – Direct Flight )

- If you are coming from other cities like Kochi/ Chennai/ Bangalore, you can book any other flight reaching by 4:00 AM or before that at DMK International Airport.
- Please note that Individual Pick up will be charged extra ( 4 hours Journey from Bangkok to Pattaya)
- We will drop you at DMK airport by 5:30 PM, you can book any flight from 8:00 PM for your return. 3 hours before you need to be at Airport. So don’t Book any flight before 8:00 PM )

- We have checked multiple flight options and found that Chennai airport is the cheapest to fly to Thailand DMK airport. But there are direct flights from Kochi and Bangalore reaching almost on the same time.
Since we are doing group pick-up from the DMK airport, we request every participant to come on the same flight to DMK airport. - Contact us for flight booking. We will help you with booking a flight.
