Let’s Go For A Camp was created when the core team realised that there was a huge gap between what people were seeking in getaways and what the typical tours and travels businesses were offering them. People have been looking for meaningful experiences to satisfy the travellers in them but they’ve been offered only typical tourist “packages”.
We began as a small-scale short and private holiday groups. Slowly, we ventured into longer trips as more and more people began to sign up for the treks, camps, picnics and holiday destinations especially to offbeat locations.
Since then, we’ve watched our fellow travelers get delighted with so many beautiful places that they did not know existed around them. They come once and they keep coming back – sometimes to the same location and sometimes to find more and more locations. What started as a humble nature camp in Kakkadam poil has now made us a respected name in Responsible Tourism.
Since then, we have created several getaway ideas:
1. Ammayum Kunjatayum for children
2. Srishti for women
3. Itihasa for those interested in history and culture
4. Fruit Forests for those interested in food, good health, and farming
We’ve grown to accommodate all kinds of holiday destinations with super-customisations possible. Moreover, 2020 has brought about a transformation in our operations too – we’ve gone back to smaller groups so that we can practise physical distancing in our trips but we’ve planned more trips and more frequently than before!
LGFC has a simple mission: to help people discover themselves through travel. There is a lot of scenic beauty around us. We like to bring fellow travellers close to nature and unleash their journey into themselves.
