🚨 Important Notes for Travelers from India to Sri Lanka
- Passport Validity:Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
- ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization):Indian travelers must apply for an ETA before arriving in Sri Lanka. We will guide you through the process if needed.
- Currency & Payments:Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) is the local currency. Cards are widely accepted, but it is recommended to carry some cash for local markets and small shops.
- Travel Insurance:Highly recommended for medical emergencies, baggage issues, or trip delays.
- Weather Consideration:Sri Lanka has tropical weather—carry light clothing, sunscreen, and a rain jacket depending on the season.
- Local SIM & Connectivity:You can easily purchase a local SIM at the airport for high-speed data and calls.
- Cultural Etiquette:Dress modestly when visiting temples. Remove shoes and hats before entering religious sites.
- Health & Safety:Drink bottled water only. Avoid street food if you have a sensitive stomach.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation fees will be applied as mentioned below.

- Alternatively, a registered participant may transfer his/her registration to a friend without any cancellation fee 10 days before the trip, after that normal cancelation fee will be applied .
- In case of cancellation of the program due to any gov restrictions due to COVID/ Weather, an alternate date will be provided for the same trip, and strictly no refund for that.
- In case you are not able to join the trek on the new dates, you can send a replacement ( Without any additional cost) / You can opt for Wallet transfer,
- What is Wallet Transfer?: The amount will move to LGFC Wallet and you can use that for any other trip. (3% fee will be deducted as movement charges) . Strictly there won’t be any refund to a bank account.
- Wallet transfer is applicable only for the case when a participant won’t be able to join the new date on a postponed trip due to Pandemic / Weather situations
- The wallet transfer offer will only be one time when the new date is announced. Further changes will be counted as normal cancellations and will be as per the cancellation policy
- Trip-to-trip movement is strictly not allowed.
- Installments are to be paid before the due dates.
- If installments are pending after the due date, the order will be auto-cancelled.
- There will be no refund in case of auto cancellation due to nonpayment of installment.
