Arrive and check into your stay. Spend the day doing local sightseeing (Hadimba Temple, Old Manali) to begin acclimatizing to the 2,050m altitude.

2 June 26, 2026 Manali to Kaza (via Atal Tunnel & Kunzum La)
Distance: 183 Km
Time: 6–8 hrs
Morning:
Depart early via the Atal Tunnel, transitioning from lush Kullu to the stark landscapes of Lahaul.
Mid-day: Stop for lunch at Batal (famous "Chacha-Chachi" Dhaba) before the steep climb to Kunzum Pass (4,551m).
Afternoon: Cross into Spiti at Losar, visit the high-altitude Chicham Bridge and Kibber Village, then reach Kaza for the night.

3 June 27, 2026 Kaza Sightseeing (High Villages)
Distance: 96 Km
Time: 6–8 hrs (approx.)
Morning:
Visit Ki Monastery, the iconic fortress-like structure.
Mid-day: Explore Langza (the Fossil Village) and its giant Buddha statue.
Afternoon: Visit Komic (world’s highest motorable village) and Hikkim to send a postcard from the world’s highest post office. Return to Kaza.

Morning:
Drive to Dhankar Monastery, perched precariously on a cliff. Optional steep hike to Dhankar Lake.
Afternoon: Visit the village of Gue to see the 500-year-old naturally preserved mummy of a monk.
Evening: Reach Tabo, known for its 1,000-year-old UNESCO-protected monastery and meditation caves.

Morning:
Drive into the "Green Oasis" of Pin Valley National Park.
Afternoon: Explore Mud Village, the last motorable point in the valley, offering stunning views of the Pin River and snow-capped peaks. On the way visit less-explored Kungri Monastery
Evening: Drive back to Kaza for your final night in the main town.

Distance: 100 Km

Morning:
Head back toward Kunzum Pass.
Afternoon: Take the 12km off-road diversion from Batal to Chandertal (The Moon Lake).
Evening: Trek 1.5km from the parking area to the lake. Overnight stay in nearby campsites (camps are 2km from the lake).

Morning:
Early departure to navigate the water crossings (pagal nallahs) on the Batal-Gramphu stretch before glacial melt increases the water flow.
Afternoon: Pass through the Atal Tunnel and arrive back in Manali by late afternoon

How to Reach Manali

The easiest way to reach Manali is via Delhi.

By Bus (Most Preferred)
  • Direct overnight buses are available from Delhi to Manali
  • You can book through apps like RedBus
  • Approx cost: ₹1,200 – ₹1,800 (one side)
  • Travel time: 10–14 hours

Note: Spiti Valley is a high altitude cold dessert and sightseeing does require walking short distances which can be challenging at those altitudes therefore it’s a must that all participants manage a basic level of fitness, they need to get a medical fitness certificate from a licenced Doctor. Follow the advice of your trip leader, do not self medicate unless there is a prescribed medicine.

Cancellation Policy

Fees paid will be refunded ( if any balance amount ) after deducting the cancellation fees as mentioned below

  • Alternatively, a registered participant may transfer his/her registration to a friend without any cancellation fee.
  • In case of cancellation of the program due to any gov restrictions due to COVID/ Weather, an alternate date will be provided for the same trip and no refund for that.
  • In case you are not able to join the trek on the new dates, either you can send a replacement (Without any additional cost) / You can opt for Wallet transfer,
    • What is Wallet Transfer:  The amount will move to LGFC Wallet and you can use that for any other trip ( 3% fee will be deducted as movement charges). No bank refund will be applicable in this case.
    • Wallet transfer is applicable only for the case when a participant won’t be able to join the new date on a postponed trip due to Pandemic / Weather situations
    • The wallet transfer offer will only be one time when the new date is announced. Further changes will be counted as normal cancellations and will be as per cancellation policy.
  • Installments are to be paid before the due dates.
  • In case when installments are pending after the due date, the order will be auto-cancelled.
  • There will be no refund in case of auto cancellation due to nonpayment of installments.
  • Trip to Trip Movement is strictly not allowed.
