Today, we will pick you up from Ahmedabad Airport at 6:00 AM and begin our scenic drive to Dholavira, located on Khadir Bet island in the Great Rann of Kutch. The drive takes approximately 7โ8 hours and offers a glimpse into the dry, rugged landscapes of Gujarat. In the evening, visit the Sunset Point for panoramic desert views and explore the Fossil Park, home to centuries-old wood fossils that showcase the regionโs prehistoric ecology. At night, you can take a peaceful walk on your own to enjoy the serene desert surroundings and clear night sky. Sometimes, there will also be star/moon gazing programs organized by locals, which you can opt into for an additional charge, offering a unique opportunity to observe the night sky in one of the most remote and unpolluted regions of India. |
